Batu caves

Batu Caves is home to a Hindu temple, which you reach by climbing a rainbow staircase. A tourist classic but worth ticking off the list, in my opinion.

Do not go when it’s super hot and sunny, as it’s A LOT of stairs, all in direct sunlight.

Watch out for the monkeys -- they will steal drinks or food, and they will fight you if they think you're going to touch their babies. Otherwise, they’re very cute climbing companions.
