Masjid Negara

Masjid Negara (National Mosque of Malaysia) has a roof designed to mirror an umbrella, a nod to its tropical location. It’s a wonderful, bright building, and there are volunteers who will happily take you around and tell you more about it.

Be sure to check when to go, as it’s still in use, so you’ll want to avoid prayer times. You’ll also be asked to wear a robe if your knees, elbows or head aren’t covered.
